This is the first post that I am making in my personal blog, and I am quite excited.
It is kind of hard these days to see a CEO making a personal blog, sharing their life lessons, opinions and knowledge, but that’s understandable given the fact that most management courses these days ask the manager not to have any kind of connection and be unpredictable to maintain a healthy team that does everything you ask for.
But I am not that kind of a leader. To put it mildly, I am not such a petty-headed guy. I believe in freedom and independence more than anything else, and I believe that the more our people get to know about me, the more they can learn from me, and it also allows people to open up quite easily and become a valuable critique when I am trying to do something wrong.
Why blogging all out of the blue?
First of all, It is not like I have not been blogging at all.
I have blogged on our company blog when we started up. If my memory serves me right, I have written and polished over a couple dozen articles in 2018. But it has been six long years since I wrote something completely by myself.
With teams growing and companies growing, whatever I write gets proofread and enhanced by people and AI. While it seems like a nice thing from a company stand point where we are expected to maintain a very professional image, I just can’t accept them completely either.
For me, when I read a blog that’s enhanced for professionalism, I am just unable to connect with it. AI can write amazing things (if you ask nicely) or even enhance the final output, but they just don’t give the satisfaction of publishing a well-written blog post that’s written soulfully.
That’s one reason, and the other reason is that I want someplace to find what I’ve learned and recall it. Every passing day gives us wisdom. We learn, and we adapt. That’s human nature.
But after a couple of years of such learning, we seem to forget whatever we learned in the first place and end up making the same mistake or going through the same sequence of activities and end up gaining the same old wisdom once again.
So yes, those are the two reasons I am making this personal blog.
So, welcome to the journey ahead!
A journey that’s filled with raw writing that cares not about grammar or being professional. A journey that’s filled with wisdom, higher-level thinking and knowledge. See you in my first (actual) post!
